The Best Custom Shutters, Blinds & Shades!
Proudly Serving The Boise and Twin Falls area

Congratulations to the latest #ShareYourShutters winner: Chelsey Rushworth! Her winning submission to #ShareYourShutters highlights a few spots in her home decorated with stylish new Polywood faux wood plantation shutters that beautifully complement both her home’s style and her own unique fashion sense.

Neutral Living Area With Shutters

Chelsey, who some may recognize on Instagram as Taste of Coffey, is a Boston-based home designer who definitely has a penchant for stylish color schemes. Just one look at her photos shows how she combines whites, off-whites, and muted shades for a look that’s welcoming and comfortable, but at the same time incredibly stylish.

Chelsey even offered some advice for designers in Boise and around the country:

  • Have a color scheme in mind. When you design a room, you can always adjust colors to customize it. Try to utilize colors either from your home’s color scheme or ones that can accentuate it.

  • Be adaptable in your use of colors. We use white shutters and most of our furniture is gray, both weathered wood and fabric. So we decided to add in pops of color and white accents.

Not only does Chelsey have a great eye for color, but the use of space in her home is on point, too. From her chairs that lead the eyes vertically to the wall and her classic shutters, to the way her shelving lines up perfectly under the window, Chelsey’s house is stylish, functional, and very livable without ever coming close to feeling cluttered.

As our #ShareYourShutters winner for Fall, we’ll send Chelsey a gift card to a Boston-area restaurant, in addition to featuring her designs here. To see her entire body of work, click over to her design site at TasteofCoffey.com.
