Sunburst Shutters was started in the early '70s in Phoenix, AZ, by people who conceived that they could make a better shutter than any other in the US.

After much research, sampling, and testing, Sunburst revealed its Polywood Shutters. 

Once Sunburst offered the best shutters on the market, they grew extensively, opening stores across the country. In 2008, Sunburst Shutters broadened its offerings into blinds, shades, draperies, and window film – and changed its name to Sunburst Shutters & Window Fashions.

In 2020, Sunburst expanded to Boise so that Idahoans could get the chance to experience the quality and charm of plantation shutters.
